I believe dogs enter our lives just like babies do: they have a purpose and they are meant to be with us. Both are precious gifts from God. Each dog gives me something different and something separate that nothing else in this world gives me. My female is loving, kind, gentle, and always by my side. My male is lumbering, sweet, and wouldn’t hurt a fly. He’s also the one who knows when I need some puppy love to make some other worry vanish. I didn’t spend big bucks on hiring someone to tell me what to do. I credit part of the transition to the fact my kids were born at home (so the dogs smelled them a few hours after birth). It has been my experience since I began my journey to learn about Radical Forgiveness (I am a completely certified Radical Forgiveness coach now, WooHoo!! ) that many people think that not forgiving those so-and-sos from our past and present is okay and that we can have peace anyway. After all... what they did was horrible... there is plenty of justification for your ire, and doggone it, it just feels GOOD to be mad at them!! I say this from experience y’all... I know how delicious it can seem to hate someone who has wronged you!! But now....I beg to differ.
Finally our joy depends on it. As I have said many times, un-forgiveness is like living with a poison running through our bodies. It literally makes us sick and how can a sick person have a happy life? Freedom from guilt, anger, hurt, sadness is necessary for a joyful life. Peace, abundance, prosperity,[link widoczny dla zalogowanych], adventure, excitement, enthusiasm cannot come through a resentful consciousness. It just can’t. We must consciously choose to do what it takes to let all those beach balls loose so we too can loose our energy and creativity to create our lives in the most joyful fulfilled way.
So, that does sound pretty RADICAL doesn’t it? How could that be? How could it be a good thing that he walked out and took all the money? No way it was divine that she cheated with my best friend! What about the abused children? Yes..yes..I know that it sounds incredulous,[link widoczny dla zalogowanych], but much like the back of a tapestry looks crazy, yet when you turn it over you have a perfect picture, so is the “human” side of life... crazy looking. If we could but turn it over,[link widoczny dla zalogowanych], we would see the perfection of all of the incidents in our lives. We don’t know the mind of God however and so we have to trust that this supreme consciousness (which by the way puts the sun up every morning and the moon up every night with such perfection and majesty) knows what it is doing in our lives too. Have you noticed that many of the most highly evolved leaders of our time have started life with less than desirable living conditions. Read Louise Hay’s story, Iyanla Vanzant’s story, Wayne Dyer’s story, Oprah Winfrey’s story. All of them started with very unfortunate situations and yet they are now using their childhood wounds to help others heal and they are benefiting from their work in miraculous ways. In truth, their early lives were a good thing.
We must learn to forgive. Here’s why.
Our prosperity depends upon it. Bottom line is that we have got to get with the fact that this is a spiritual world that we are living in and we are merely having a human experience in it. The rules of the game are spiritual and not physical. If we want to win at this game called life we must learn these spiritual rules. You cannot have riches and keep them comfortably as long as you are filled with un-forgiveness. This is partly because your subconscious feels guilty for holding on to that resentment and therefore unconsciously you don’t feel you deserve a prosperous joyful life. Edwene Gaines, abundance guru, says that all debt is an acceptable form of self punishment. Not only must we learn to forgive others but we must learn to forgive ourselves too. This also goes back to not accepting our divinity. When you know that you are truly a JOINT heir with Jesus you will know that you and everyone else on the planet, deserves lavish, opulent abundance and you will begin to let go of all that holds you back from attracting it into your life, in particular...un-forgiveness. There is a reason Jesus said that we should forgive seventy time seventy times! He knew we needed to in order to live the kind of life that he did.
